Sun-Maid Growers of California in Kingsburg is currently looking to hire General Laborers. 

This is a full-time position. Must be flexible to work any shift. (AM, PM, GRAVEYARD.)

JOB SUMMARY: Daily duties may vary: stem picking, stacking 30lbs boxes, applying labels, dumping 3olbs cases of ingredients, repacking product, relieving machine operators for breaks.

PRODUCTION STANDARDS:

· Assist with product flow.

· Manually pack and/or palletize cases and pans.

· Manually form cases and apply labels.

· Manually prepare cases to be sealed.

· Assist Line Operators as directed.

· Relieve co-workers as directed by supervisory personnel.

· Communicate effectively with Operators, Crew Leaders, and Salvage Coordinators.

· Keep work area clean and organized at all times.

· Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Fast paced work area. Department is exposed to outside temperatures. Area is wet and requires proper shoes or over-shoes.

Must have a positive attitude and ability to document work as it is completed.

Requirements

Must pass background check, drug screening and physical test

High School diploma or equivalent a plus

Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Math and basic computer skills may be required

High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment

Follow instructions for completing work

Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner

Maintain a clean & safe environment
