Job Description: Under direct supervision, the Imaging Technician is responsible for the timely and accurate posting; scanning; and indexing of new and pending claims, as well as the assignment of an analyst to new claims in the Administrative System. • Timely and accurately posts new claims in the Administrative System within established turnaround time • Uses identified process to assign an analyst to each new claim • Works collaboratively with Policy and Renewal Specialists to facilitate the accurate posting of claims • Assists in maintaining the manuals and job aids, as new procedures are developed and best practices are identified • Maintains an understanding of the different client relationships and the related posting requirements • Ensures complete and accurate scanning and indexing of new claim and pending claim documentation using the established indexing structure • Responsible for any valid indexing corrections on new and pending claim documentation • Complete tasks in a self sufficient manner, maintaining satisfactory production and accuracy guidelines • Maintains ERISA and HIPAA compliance • Assist with management and response to e-mails coming through the Claims Center e-mail account • Assist with management and response to e-mails coming through the SLF Worksite Claims e-mail account ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist with Life Waiver of Premium scan requests, audit requests from Claims department • Assist with Call Center back up as needed • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Education & Previous Experience Requirements • 1 year work experience required. If you are a California resident, the salary range for this position is: Southern region: $51,500-77,200 annually Central region: $54,300-81,400 annually Northern region: $58,000-87,000 annually If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $37,500-50,600 annually. If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $ 44,300-59,800 annually. If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $ 41,400-55,900 annually.
