Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Paint Technician at Summit Polymers located in Mount Sterling, KY. The Paint Technician will be responsible for changes, set-up, and maintenance of machine and equipment parameters. The Paint Tech must follow and maintain safety practices to ensure that self and other team members are working in a safe environment to prevent injuries. Responsible for assuring that all machines and equipment are properly functioning. Interfaces with purchasing, shipping, receiving, molding, finishing, engineering, and quality assurance to assure products are produced in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Qualifications
- One-year work-related experience, and successful completion of all related training courses or be willing to enroll in next available class. Must meet job posting requirements as outlined in the company handbook.
- possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
- A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional Score of 16 on the Cognitive portion).
