Job Summary

The ‘Project Coordinator – X-ray Install Customer Support’ is a key position that requires facilitating a project from start to finish (from order receipt, to coordination between dealer and end-user, to working with installers to ensure successful installation at the customer site). The role requires skill in communicating effectively with professionals in medical and business fields, coordinating, scheduling, and problem solving for Customers of our diagnostic radiographic equipment (X-ray). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and organization skills are vital to this role, as is the ability to understand the electrical and mechanical requirements of the X-ray equipment, specifically as they relate to the X-ray room. The ‘Project Coordinator – X-ray Install Customer Support’ is a highly visible role, partnering with the VP, Clinical Sales, in the Veterinary and Chiropractic markets.

JOB DUTIES

The ‘Project Coordinator – X-ray Install Customer Support’ will work with the VP, Clinical Sales, and our customers and dealers of diagnostic radiographic equipment (primarily in the Veterinary market), to coordinate projects from inception to completion. Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Communicate verbally and in writing with our Veterinary and Chiropractic customers, professional corporate and medical customer staff, internal customer service staff, production personnel, X-ray service companies and dealers
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and dealers; providing customer support, product and scheduling information, pricing, and other requested materials to customers with direction from the VP, Clinical Sales
  • Obtain information from dealers and notify end-users/clinical customers of installation requirements, including room dimensions, electrical specifications, scheduling availability, and other pertinent information
  • The Project Coordinator – X-ray Install Customer Support will become a product expert, able to understand the basic electrical and mechanical requirements of the machine
  • Collect critical customer information, including blueprints, and review for project accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate and schedule installations with customers and dealers to achieve the best outcome
  • Maintain customer databases, master lists, statistics and/or essential files on pertinent information
  • Utilize PC-based desktop publishing software to create master copies of forms, documents and other materials for printing and publication
  • Create, prepare, and distribute project reports
  • Provide broad support to assist in field-related customer problem solving

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably business or technical related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role

EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS

Requirements include:

  • Business experience as a project coordinator or in a similar customer-facing role requiring professional communication and organization/ coordination
  • Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to generate and maintain effective & professional business relationships by telephone and email
  • Competent with Word, Excel, Power Point; Salesforce competence a plus
  • Proven project skills and experience coordinating the process from initial contact to completion
  • Ability to gain an understanding of the basic electrical and mechanical requirements of smaller radiological equipment
  • Technical education, experience, or aptitude a plus
  • Familiarity with blueprints a plus
  • Skilled listening with humbleness to adapt to customer needs; customer-centric disposition
  • Problem-solving and Critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable in a diverse culture, working with people at all levels
  • High accuracy and detail-oriented in all duties; Quality-focused
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment; time management skills
  • This position will include exposure to confidential company information and requires a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement

  • Carry up to 25 lbs. periodically
