The Security Supervisor is responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, and daily monitoring of security staff and serves as the liaison between local Law Enforcement and The Summit. The Security Supervisor also performs the duties of the Security Officer by providing security and protects property for the resort. Helps to ensure that guests and employees have a safe and enjoyable experience at the resort. As a customer focused organization a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests. Variable hours, must be willing to work days, evenings, and nights including weekends and holidays.

Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour West of Seattle via Interstate 90 at Snoqualmie Pass, The Summit includes four unique mountain areas, a snow tubing park, Nordic center, SnowSports School, and 10 food and beverage establishments.

Responsibilities

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, and daily monitoring of security staff.
• Perform security patrols across all base areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates, using both vehicle patrols and foot patrols.
• Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations.
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Assists guests and employees in the resolution of problems they encounter on our property.
• Helps to prevent thefts, ticket fraud, and other incidents on resort property.

Qualifications

What we are looking for: 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years supervisor experience with one year of Security related experience. 
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record. 
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
