Overview

Keep our guests fueled so they have energy to keep hitting the slopes.

In the Barista position you will be make and serve beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages while provides excellent hospitalitu with guests face to face in a unique enviorment.

Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long.

Responsibilities

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas. 
  • Take customer orders and convey them to other employees for preparation. 
  • Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment. 
  • Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them.
  • Set up or restock product displays. 
  • Stock customer service stations with baked goods, grab and go items, paper products or beverage preparation items. 
  • Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions. 
  • Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning. 
  • Demonstrate the use of retail equipment, such as espresso machines, cashier registers, credit card readers.
  • Create signs to advertise store products or events.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous barista or food and beverage experience is preferred.
  • Fluent in any language other than English a plus.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English with guest in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask. 
  • Available most weekends and holidays.
