Summary:

The Repair Technician is a high qualified mechanical position that will be responsible for the evaluation and repair of mechanical components. This person would oversee disassembly/reassembly, cleaning, repair, and testing of spindle mechanisms. ​​​

Job Requirements:

• Technical/mechanical training (or equivalent experience)
• Mechanical ability (hands-on) with good troubleshooting skills
• Work well with others (team environment)
• Knowledge of mechanical measurement tools
• Understanding of mechanical drawings (metric & imperial)
• Basic computer skills (Excel / Word)

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

• Climate controlled warehouse
• Exposed to fumes (while washing, painting & cleaning)
• Standing at work bench for extended periods
• Lifting to 40 pounds

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and the ability to willing to learn.
• Applicant must be comfortable in a mechanical repair atmosphere dealing with technical personnel, with the occasional customer repair visit.
• Candidate must possess mechanical aptitude.

Position Type / Compensation / Hours:

• Full-time / Hourly (M-F, 8-5 with 1hr lunch, occasional overtime, possible travel)
• Pay: $17.00-$21.00/hour depending on experience
