Position Overview

Sugared Bronzed is seeking a Software Wizard (a.k.a. Software Engineer) to join our team and help bring our software to new and exciting heights. You'll be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining the magic that powers our operations. You'll work with a cross-functional team of wizards to ensure our client experience on all platforms is effortless.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new software applications and features to ensure effortless self checkout flow for clients via S B App and mobile 
• Craft, maintain, and improve our existing Website - proficient with Shopify custom development comfortable working with AWS, multitude of public and private APIs
• App Maintenance Enhancements (built in Swift ), using AWS booking software API (booker) to meet our business needs
• Collaborate with your Marketing peers to gather requirements and deliver bewitching solutions to identify optimal user experience
• Building custom appointment booking flow on web and iOS
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure the Client Experience Team has all tech issues and troubleshooting maintained at the highest quality
• Troubleshoot and debug any magic mishaps (a.k.a. software issues) to keep our operations running smoothly
• Stay on top of the latest and greatest wizardry in the software engineering world

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong experience in Swift, Javascript, Liquid (Shopify), AWS, and scripting languages
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL
• Experience practicing the art of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
• Excellent communication skills, a love for collaboration, and a knack for solving problems
• A passion for working independently and as part of a team
