Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry is Hiring an Orthodontic Dental Assistant Near Port Jefferson Station, NY

Our orthodontic department is looking to hire a fun, enthusiastic and experienced Orthodontic Assistant and a Floater to join our team. The assistant candidate will be responsible for preparing treatment rooms and assisting the dentist during appointments. We're looking for a compassionate, responsible, and skilled assistant to help us provide excellent service in a fun, creative environment. The floater will be responsible for steralizing equipment, stocking, and taking X-Rays. We are willing to train the ideal floater candidate. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the orthodontist in various ways.
  • Aid in administering treatment for a patient.
  • Recognize and respond to patient's problems.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal laws pertaining to one's profession.
  • Utilize Orthotrac and Dentrix software.
  • Give clear, concise information to patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
