The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle from definition to delivery: gathering, elaborating and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining and aligning the product vision, and working closely with business stakeholders to ensure business goals and targets are met. This position involves close interaction with development leads, scrum masters, product architects, and key customers
Beyond driving development to completion, the role is responsible for ensuring the product is successfully integrated into the business toolset and culture. Including supporting User Acceptance Testing, developing support and training materials and strategies with the Helpdesk, Application Support and training organizations. Ensuring that the products are supporting the company’s overall strategy and goals through developing KPI reporting and business insights through data analysis.
- Define the product strategy and roadmap aligning
- Preparing and socializing feature canvases and business cases for approval
- Creating and maintaining relationships with field workers and customers to conduct research to identify user need for new products
- Prioritize product opportunities using criteria and requirements defined during research
- Establish requirements and specifications for existing and new products
- Develop, maintain and socialize metrics and measures to determine product success and provide support for enhancement decisions
- Clearly communicate vision and goals of existing and new products
- Lead and participate in planning meetings and provide advice and guidance on direction of products
- Engage cross-functional teams in business, product, design, and engineering
- Work with external third parties to complete objectives
- Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
- Demonstrate functionality of completed products to internal team members and other stakeholders
- Collaborate and communicate with customers, team members, and outside influencers to ensure a solid and well-rounded understanding of products and developing needs
- Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, gathering feedback, and enhancing customer experience
