In addition to a base wage, every associate is eligible for quarterly profit sharing!! Various shifts are available and off shifts include additional shift differential pay. SUMMARY: Perform electro-mechanical maintenance and installation services to Cutting, Drilling, CNC Lathe, and Hammer Forging Equipment. Emphasis will be placed on tasks requiring electrical controls abilities. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Able to work up to five days per week, 10 hours per day. Occasional Saturday work is required based upon business needs. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain operating condition of electro-mechanical systems within department including but not limited to Electrical Power Systems, Electronic Systems, Instruments, Motor Controls, PLC’s, VFD’s. PLC troubleshooting and programming required. (Allen Bradley, ABB, Fanuc typically used) Electronic Control & Circuit troubleshooting and repair to component level required. Install and set-up new and used manufacturing equipment (HAAS, Fanuc, Okuma, Doosan), collaborating with equipment manufacturers as needed. Knowledge of 3 phase power and buss distribution system required. Read, interpret, and design blueprints, electrical schematics, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams. Diagnose and repair pneumatics, hydraulics, lubricating and electrical systems. Understand the application of technical documents such as machine/equipment manuals and safety documentation. Lead maintenance projects under time constraints in accordance with business priorities. Perform miscellaneous maintenance duties as required. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. EXPERIENCE: Minimum six years’ experience working in electro-mechanical maintenance required PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing / walking for majority of day. Must be able to bend, stoop, pivot and walk frequently. Climbing is required. Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds (Max). Push/pull: May be up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes/airborne particles, coolant and cutting oil. Will be exposed to outside temperatures of heat and cold. Personal protective equipment that is required includes hearing protection, gloves that are specified for the tasks being performed, and safety glasses. Must wear safety-toed shoes/boots.
