The Site and Patient (S&P) Clinical Solutions business unit is the Syneos Health accelerator for life sciences innovation. The Assoc Director, Global Business Solutions is a key member of the collaborative business development organization responsible for the strategic sales growth of StudyKIK/Clinical Solutions across all products and services.StudyKIK works with a variety of customers and partners, in North America and globally.

In this diverse and highly visible role, the Assoc. Director, Global Business Solutions will support both internal (SYNH) and external customers including sponsors (CEOs, CSOs, Clinical Heads, Digital Heads, Outsourcing) and CROs globally to identify areas where StudyKIK recruitment, retention and eClinical technology solutions & services can be implemented to enable & support clinical trials across the world through generating & collecting rich data to transform lives. The primary responsibility will be to acquire and develop new accounts, working in connection with the wider business including full Service SYNH, Technology Business Development, Proposals, Operations, Product Management, Engineering, Project Management & more.

Job responsibilities

*Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified customer accounts in biotech, pharmaceutical and CROs as well as SYNH customers to achieve or exceed target for yearly sales goal

*Cultivate strong long-term relationships with key decision makers within accounts and within SYNH and develop in-depth knowledge of customer organization and influencers in network

*Identify and respond to customer needs to define potential opportunities across patient recruitment, retention and eClinical technologies and implement strategies to continue to expand products and services within specified accounts

*Learn, understand, and present StudyKIK's service offerings, products, pricing, and differentiators and establish problem solving solutions for clientele when it comes to patient enrollment and retention solutions and eClinical services

*Develop and maintain customer relationships, schedule meetings, and attend industry meetings

*Handle follow up related to the award, sale, and drive completion of contractual documents and hand off to project management

*Take ownership of assigned accounts as they pertain to Biotech/Pharmaceutical/ CRO business and manage effectively for growth to generate both incremental and repeatable annual business

*Initiate and manage RFI and RFP process and support bid defense meetings

*Work closely with the established team to develop strategies for continued growth and leverage internal best practices to ultimately increase business opportunities

*Assess and anticipate business risks in relation to competitive setting, strategy, and R&D pipeline

Represent SYNH/StudyKIK in a positive and professional manner at all times

*Work with senior leadership and engage in thought leadership activities in order to formulate and execute new BD/Sales strategies.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

*Experience working in a sales/relationship building role within the Clinical Trial Industry with experience and knowledge of Pharma Industry is a MUST

*Experience selling recruitment and or retention technologies, eClinical (including APPs, Telehealth, eConsent, Websites)

*Strong at opening new opportunities as well as sourcing opportunities

*Strong sales skills with a proven track record as an individual contributor

*Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical people and communicate with people at all levels especially clinical and medical professionals including MDs and PhDs

*Excellent communication, effective presentation, and organizational skills

*Collaborative with a commitment to collaboration within and across departments.Provide clear direction and accountabilities with strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple priorities

*Strong motivational, problem-solving and influence skills. Demonstrable experience driving sales within a highly competitive market

*Practices professionalism and integrity in all actions - demonstrated commitment to teamwork, cooperation, self-control, and flexibility

*Experience with CRM software is preferred

*Excellent skills using MS Office Suite/Applications

*Up to 30% travel for company meetings, client meetings and industry conferences, as needed

*Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written)
