Overview

The Field Service Technician is a customer-oriented individual who provides excellent service and customized solutions. This individual repairs batteries, chargers and battery handling equipment in a timely and efficient manner at the customer's site, while also actively seeking opportunities to offer the right products to the customer. You'll have access to a company vehicle and training to make you effective. But, you need to bring a working knowledge of standard shop tools, a good understanding of basic electricity/electronics, and the ability to read, analyze and interpret documents. Qualifications

We’re looking for:

• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A sharp eye for new business opportunities!
• A high school diploma/GED/equivalent required, and one-to-three years battery or field service experience is desired.
• If you have industrial maintenance experience, that would be great!
• And, if you are certified to operate a forklift, that's the right stuff! It's important that you be able to work independently with minimal supervision to be successful in this role.

• While performing the duties of this job, individual is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Individual is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to regularly lift a minimum 50lbs on a daily basis and 51 to 150lbs with assistance of equipment on a daily to weekly basis
• Regular use of safety glasses. Vision requirements: close vision
