Managers who carefully oversee people, processes, and deliverables to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures What You Will Do Primary responsible for establishing and managing all quality functions for Incoming Quality Assurance, including but not limited to Incoming Inspection, Procedures, Calibration, DHR Files, Internal Audits, Supplier Development, Quality Metrics, Compliance to ISO13485 and FDA QSR/CFR. Coordinate and assign daily activities/work for all quality inspectors and calibration staff. Work with receiving group to prioritize the work of the day. Monitor the daily work of all inspectors. Inventory control, Inspect components, subassemblies, finished products per inspection requirements and specifications, as needed. Support NCE’s related to the Calibration, Distribution, and Inspection Support product hold processes, field actions, and CAPA activities Maintain and review all quality equipment to ensure requirements are met. Responsible for personnel management located within the Inspection Department. Execute performance evaluations, focus on personnel development, etc. What you Need Bachelor’s or associates degree highly preferred; or in place of a degree, 6 years of equivalent experience will be considered Work experience in a related field of manufacturing or quality control, the medical device industry Prior inspection experience is required with the ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, etc. 4 years relevant industry experience required, 2 years supervisory or lead experience or ASQ preferred Ability to lead, communicate and perform to established objectives Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings & experience in GD&T Mastery of functional gaging and application techniques Working knowledge of statistical sampling techniques. Solid use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Must be able to detect an occasional defect in a repetitive operation Travel Percentage: 10% Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
