Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices for payments
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
• Record bank deposits
• Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail
• Prepare collections chart on weekly basis so management can gain a better understanding of cash flow.
• Support inventory management and audits.
• Conduct root cause analysis for payment discrepencies and shortages.
• Understand and analyze clients penalty/chargeback codes and reconcile payments accordingly.

Required skills:

• Strong Mathematical skills.
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
• MUST be detail oriented.
• MUST be a problem solver.
• MUST be very well organized with accounting documentation.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks.

Required qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in aa accounting or similar field.
• 3 years of experience in Accounts receivables and solving accounting discrepancies.

Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
