Stress Engineering Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Compliance Attorney to join our Corporate Legal Team.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, edit, and negotiate contracts of all types (master service agreements, project contracts, subcontracts, vendor contracts, etc.)
• Act as a liaison between clients and Practice Leaders/Project Managers
• Work with satellite office personnel for contract review and other legal needs
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company policies and procedures
• Respond in a timely and professional manner to all inquiries from internal and external clients
• Provide legal research on various topics as requested
• Participate in special assignments as requested

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing
• Minimum 5 years of federal government, law firm and/or in-house experience in at least one of the following areas: government contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, aerospace and defense, export control, or similar
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Able to work on multiple, simultaneous assignments, meeting priorities and deadlines for each
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
• Self starter; willing and able to take initiative as needed
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
