Job Description


Are you looking to use your sales skills in a high-growth, unlimited potential field? Our agency is one of the oldest and largest Allstate's in New Jersey and we have Elite level and Top Commercial Producer designations. We are looking to add a new Insurance Sales Representative to our sales team and can provide you the launchpad to a rewarding and successful career helping to protect your community.

As an insurance sales rep we will help you learn how to market and deliver insurance solutions to personal and commercial customers - this is an amazing skillset that can carry you into owning an agency of your own.

To excel in this insurance sales role, you will need to be passionate, hungry and coachable so we can help you learn the industry and obtain the skills/ tools to succeed! This position has unlimited earning potential...we are looking for motivated individuals that want to make real money and believe in themselves and their ability to win!

Responsibilities


  • You will start by learning what we sell, why its important and how to establish rapport with customers, leveraging our coaching and mentoring program
  • You will prospect for new business by following-up on sales leads that you develop from our data sources, lead management platform and your own network
  • You will build relationships with potential customers as you create a long-term pipeline of opportunities
  • Working closely with our management team, you will become the trusted advisor to your own network - a skill that will create permanent career opportunity for you
  • We will teach you how to build relationships with mortgage brokers, loan officers and real estate agents

Requirements


  • Must be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license - we can help you obtain your licenses if necessary
  • Previous sales experience required
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently and in a group
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated and have the will and desire to be great
  • Be comfortable with telemarketing and building rapport over the phone and Zoom
  • Most importantly, you must be coachable, driven to succeed and willing to learn!
