Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role
1 Assist in software, application, and hardware support for the local and enterprise staff
2 Resolve Incidents and Problems associated with DC EUC equipment and EUC software, and provide advice, and assistance to Authorized Users. Responsible for resolving all Incidents and Problems associated with failure or degradation of Services related to DC EUC equipment and EUC software
3 Supporting all aspects of warehouse / supply chain systems
4 Work with local management to make decisions based on supported systems to maintain superior uptime of all equipment, applications, and software.
5 Document and log incidents using ticketing system for metric and performance-based reporting.
6 Represent local facility in planning for the installation and implementation of new systems, services, applications, and processes.
7 Maintaining strong working relationship with internal support teams and application vendors.
8 Perform preventative maintenance and daily health check of supported systems to ensure uptime and stability.
9 Assist in the planning, deployment, and management of complex IT projects involving interrelated disciplines and multiple stages of the systems development lifecycle.
10 Troubleshoot problems across multiple systems providing supporting evidence of root cause and recommended remediation.
11 Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
12 Ability to travel up to a week at a time by ground or air
13 Ability to travel 15-25% of the year to all operating areas.
14 Respond to off-hour emergencies and perform off schedule work as required
