Location: Des Moines (Hybrid) or Remote outside of Iowa

As a Media Account Manager, you will...

  • Develop media strategy, plans and rationale based on client needs.
  • Present media strategy, plans and rationale to client for review/approval.
  • Manage and assist media buyers in implementing plans.
  • Maintain buy records and reports as needed.
  • Coordinate creative specifications, delivery timelines and traffic instructions
  • Adjust media plans and buys based on client needs.
  • Conduct post-buy analysis and prepare reporting.
  • Maintain working relationships with vendor partners.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices.
  • Work closely with SA accounting department to ensure accurate client billing.
  • Collaborate with other SA internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Identify and evaluate special media opportunities for clients.
  • Keep current with industry trends and monitor market conditions
  • Seek ways to increase efficiency and productivity on assigned accounts.
  • Serve as a positive role model by representing the SA’s Core Values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • 5 years work experience 
  • Skilled in media planning/buying for all forms of traditional media (Ex: broadcast, print, out of home).
  • Experience with digital media planning/buying, preferred (Ex: Connected TV, streaming audio).
  • Knowledge of media research tools and resources (Ex: SQAD, Nielsen).
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to mutitask.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and agency media buying software.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong supporter of SA’s desired culture.

Salary Grade (internal use only) - 9

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers in the state of Colorado to disclose the following information. If the position applied to is not located in Colorado, the following information may not apply. Salary Minimum: $61,209 Salary Maximum: $94,874. Other components of our Total Rewards package are our discretionary bonus plan and employee stock ownership plan, health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, volunteer time off and paid time off.
