STR MECHANICAL is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Buford, GA
We are seeking a Staff Accountant in the Buford, GA area that will be responsible for advising on budgets, financial strategy, financial reporting, and forecasting, helping audit and ledger preparation, and supporting managers across teams with financial procedures
Experience in a trades environment would be helpful - HVAC, Construction, Electrical, etc.
• Manage general ledger and month-end/year-end close processes which includes, but is not limited to, preparing all journal entries, reconciling all balance sheet accounts and financial statement preparation and analysis.• Maintain records retention, protection and disposal of records.
• Maintain company accounting procedures and processes and ensure compliance
• Develop procedures to improve efficiency
• Monitor cash flow for operations
• Assist with audits
