STP Management Corporation Inc. is Hiring an Account Manager Near West Chester, PA

Description

The Account Manager is responsible for servicing their assigned clients with anything they may need. Daily interaction and coordination with internal and external stakeholders is key to be successful in this role. The individual in this role will manage their client’s requests using a number of middle office deliverables listed below. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and strong customer service skills.

Essential Functions

  • Serving clients of accounts with any tasks, issues, or problems they may bring.
  • Oversight of a dedicated operations team
  • Management of day-to-day middle office operational deliverables including:
  • Trade operations
  • Portfolio accounting
  • Pricing/corporate actions
  • Performance calculations
  • Reconciliations
  • Transactions and holdings reconciliation
  • Internal/client reporting
  • Design and implement complex workflows, drive operational controls and produce excellent client satisfaction results.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. 

Travel

Limited to no travel is required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field from an accredited college or university required.
  •  5 years of experience in the capital markets industry; Asset Servicing, Custody, Investment Manager OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients to sustain a positive and beneficial relationship
  • Management experience within a similar group of services is desired with a team larger than 3 resources
  • Familiarity with portfolio accounting and reconciliation software such as Eagle and Electra preferred
  • Deep knowledge of various asset types, custom data schemes, and complex workflows
  • Ability to design, document, implement and improve investment operations workflows
  • Proven track record and history of exceeding targets and implementing process improvements
  • High degree of self-motivation, positive attitude, high energy, and a strong desire to be successful required

Preferred Education and Experience

· Experience using Eagle Investment Systems. 

· Data conversion, configuration, and client onboarding experience preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
