Storm Search is Hiring a CNC Machine Operator Near Oxnard, CA
SUMMARY: Operates and adjusts CNC or manual machines to produce parts per specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow safety requirements within the department
- Access and understand daily and weekly schedules
- Find, read & follow work instructions displayed electronically (iPad)
- Read and understand blueprints
- Inspect finished parts
- Correctly use all precision measuring instruments to verify part integrity
- Correctly load and unload parts
- Manage applicable tools including knowledge of applicable tool life and tool wear
- Make any machine adjustment to maintain part integrity
- Restart the machines at the required place in the operation
- Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. Additionally, there are high value items that require proper care and protection
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of CNC Machine Operating experience
- Understanding of CNC set-ups or programming is a plus
- Exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
