Part time position every other Sat/Sun, 8:30a-4:30p
SUMMARY:
Leads, helps in planning and executes Life Enrichment Program with Activities Department under guidance of the Activity Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works to develop recreational activities for residents. Provides activities to help with different physical, mental or psychosocial needs. Activities are to include social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and physical wellness with a person-centered care focus
• Helps in planning monthly event calendar for Life Enrichment Program
• Drive van when needed on outings
• Researching new activity trends and other facilities to promote the best life enrichment atmosphere for residents
• Leads, assists and directs Life Enrichment Programs
• Performs resident assessments as needed
• Complies records of residents as required
• Chaperon for group-sponsored trips and social functions
• Answers telephone and other clerical duties when needed
• Transport residents to doctor's appointments when needed
• Speaks clear English
• Lift at least 25 pounds
