STONECREST LIVING is Hiring a RN Near Minnetonka, MN

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate their assisted living services. You are responsible for planning, organizing, developing, evaluating and effectively directing the clinical staff and program in order to ensure the delivery of high quality resident care and services consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. You will also be responsible for admission intakes, assessment reviews, resident discharges, educating residents on their conditions, assisting in medication management, collaborating with other health care providers and team members and working with/training Resident Assistants/ULP's to meet resident needs. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
  • Oversee the implementation of resident care processes: Selection, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care based upon regulations and established clinical best practices. Participate in resident care processes as needed.
  • Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
  • Collaborate with outside physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
  • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
  • Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
  • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
  • Provide instant medical care in emergencies
  • Supervise and train LPNs, nursing assistants, and resident assistants
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
  • Evaluate current and potential tenants and clients to determine and maintain the facility’s ability to provide the appropriate level of care.
  • Train, supervise, and be a resource for unlicensed personnel
  • Manage care for clients in 24/7 care setting by delegating tasks to the team and thoroughly communicating client needs
  • Medication management and collaborating with the pharmacy
  • Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a registered nurse/LPN
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency care
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible and compassionate
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
  • diploma from a nursing program
  • Valid nursing license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
  • In accordance with CMS Vaccine Mandate, candidate must provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccine or submit documentation for exemption.

PAY: HIGHLY COMPETITIVE PAY AND EMPLOYEE PACKAGE
