About Florence Hospital

Florence Hospital, a campus of Mountain View Medical Center, is a 36-bed hospital offering emergency care, as well as surgical, imaging and laboratory services to residents of Pinal County. Our patients have access to a full range of excellent health care across our two campuses.

Position Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing assistant care to patients and assists in maintenance of a clean work environment under the direction and supervision of the Department Director or Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of a patient; provide the care needed as described in the unit’s policies and procedures skills check lists. Honoring the diversity of everyone’s values, culture, spiritual beliefs, and other socio-economic issues in addressing the needs of patients, visitors, and co-workers. Participates in performance improvement activities. Provides appropriate care of the Telemetry patient.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• CNA/LNA valid in Arizona
• BLS

Preferred:

• 3 years’ experience
