ACS Group is a privately held company that designs and manufactures comprehensive lines of auxiliary products for the plastics processing industry. ACS Group maintains an expansive product line, which includes size reduction equipment (granulators and shredders), material conveying equipment, metering and blending devices, heat exchangers (mold temperature control units and chillers), drying systems, and presses. These products are marketed under such recognizable brand names as AEC, Sterling, Cumberland, Wabash and Carver.The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the procurement of required parts and equipment for specific sales order. Complete pick list and turn in for accurate and timely inventory transactions. This position has opportunities for advancement.

A successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Pick parts for jobs per the pick list and deliver to the appropriate work cell.
• Complete pick list and turn in for accurate and timely inventory transactions.
• Deliver requested supplies to internal departments’ point of use locations.
• Determine discrepancies or shortages within the inventory management system.
• Check stock for outdated or damaged inventory.
• Act as backup to warehouse personnel as required.
• Clean up work areas and assist in taking out trash.
• Conduct cycle counts.
• Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 year of warehouse experience.

• Ability to drive a forklift and obtain a forklift certification.
