Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Recovery Investigator to investigate and track the location of missing lease portable storage buildings. As an Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, collecting data, and providing accurate reports. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the prevention and detection of fraud while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duties:
· Conduct through investigations using telephonic, mobile, stationary and physical surveillance, and intelligence-led tactics to aid in the recovery of company assets

· Review case files to identify fraudulent red flags and/or trends

· Evaluate, analyze, verify and obtain material evidence relevant to the investigation

· Locate, extract and review data from multiple sources and ensure accuracy in findings

· Ensure all investigative findings are properly and thoroughly documented in a timely manner

· Make referrals to prosecutorial agencies and/or administrative action based on investigative findings

· Provide testimony as necessary for judicial and/or administrative hearings

· Develop positive relationship with local law enforcement agencies

Skills:
· Experience in law enforcement and/or US military through service preferred

· Experience in skip tracing, field locating, private investigations or repossession

· Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State and Local debt collection laws and regulations

· Demonstrate a proven ability to work effectively in an outside environment without direct supervision

· Possess the ability to act discreetly in your role

· Exhibit familiarity and proficiency in using a smartphone

· Comfortably connect a laptop to the internet and resolve minor connectivity issues

· Willingness to travel and stay overnight on remote assignments
