Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to become a part of our team! You will perform administrative and advanced clinical assignments in a patient-centered, slower-paced office setting. Practice at the top of your certification — utilize the full extent of your education, training, and experience in a quiet new office.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner.
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support physician
• Conduct a variety of instrument-based testing (vision, hearing, ECGs, PFTs, among others)
• Phlebotomy
• Give injections and apply dressings, as applicable.
• Prepares and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
• Assists physician in preparing for minor surgeries.
• Independently administers test panel for annual wellness exam

• Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, kind, and desire to help others.
• Knowledge of medical practice and care to assist in giving patient care.
• Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
• Skill in assisting in a variety of treatments and medications as directed.
• Skill in taking vital signs.
• Skills in using electronic health records (Athena)
• Ability to maintain quality control standards.
• Ability to interpret and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Previous experience in healthcare, or other related fields
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
