Step Ahead ABA is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Tekamah, NE

Step Ahead ABA is looking to hire the most qualified technicians to provide services to our clients who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Here at Step Ahead ABA we value you as an individual as well as your time. This is why we allow you to make the schedule that fits best for you and allows you to have the best work life balance. We also offer an extremely competitive salary of $30 per hour! This position is very rewarding and allows you to make a huge impact in our clients’ daily lives!
This is a part time position, it may take time to confirm your desired caseload, and there is no guarantee for full-time hours.

Behavior Technician Training (Provided)
  • We provide the necessary training to help you obtain your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. This is a requirement to provide direct services to client with Step Ahead ABA.
  • 40 Hour Online training provided at no cost to you!
  • In person Field work training is provided to make sure you are given the best possible guidance and preparation before sending you out into the work field on your own.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities
  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and in community environments
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising BCBA
  • Data collection and session note submission
  • Collaborate with peers and supervisors
  • Participate regularly in staff meetings and trainings
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Experience working with children and/or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week M-F
  • Effective communication in the English language, including verbal and written communication
  • The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and families
  • Valid state identification card
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to Actively play with kids for 20 minutes at a time
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, twist, and lift 50 pounds minimum
