Description
Job Purpose: A sanitation employee is responsible for following proper procedures & specifications while cleaning industrialized equipment and plant processing areas/rooms to ensure food safety.
Essential Functions include the following.
Requirements
Physical/Environmental Conditions:
· Occasionally lifting/carrying product from 5 pounds up to 50 pounds.
· Tolerate Warm and Cold Room temperatures along with damp or wet environment
· Required standing for long periods of time.
· Frequently bending/stooping and reaching below waist and shoulder level.
· Occasionally kneeling/pushing/pulling/and walking.
· Exposure to small amounts of diluted cleaning chemicals.
· Hearing, Eye and Foot protection is required at all time out on the production floor.
· Ability to document completed work assignments.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. · High school diploma or GED is preferred (not required). One year of related experience and/or training is preferred.
