What will I do?

  • Design and develop complex and detailed ACAD drawings for projects in conjunction with engineering.
  • Detail the location of structural steel, architectural elements, overhead cranes, equipment, etc. to identify possible field conflicts.
  • Perform construction administration to include RFI feedback, review shop drawings, and compile punch list.
  • Act as technical advisor for planning and design of installations, including but not limited to structural elements, cranes, equipment, HVAC/ventilation components and more.
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, contractors, architects, vendors, etc.
  • Develop and execute client specific solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate Degree in Drafting and Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in CAD Design
  • Working knowledge of CAD software; Revit experience is a plus
  • PEMB design knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge of construction trades such as Foundation, Plumbing, Electrical, Steel Fabrication is a plus
  • Strong overall Microsoft Office knowledge and overall software aptitude
  • Proven detail-orientation and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational ability and communication skills
