Overview

The primary focus of this position will be leveraging data to discover opportunities in improvements in efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This position will also support strategic planning activities as well as key market and competitor analyses.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform all duties safely and professionally
• Compile and analyze data, largely using AX 12, AX 365, and PowerBI
• Data discovery, reporting, and visualizations, including development and maintenance of reports
• Serve as a liaison between materials, operations and IT teams to develop and deliver solutions
• Technical skill-building within the materials and engineering teams (application development and support, troubleshooting, training)

Qualifications

Required:

• Hands-on experience developing data-driven solutions to loosely defined problems using business intelligence or data analytics software
• A strategic mindset and strong general business acumen
• Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• High-energy, team-oriented
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
• 4-year degree in relevant discipline (finance, accounting, statistics, analytics, marketing, information systems, economics, etc.)
• Experience with AX 12, AX365, PowerBI, and IBA (load script, advanced set analysis, section access, variables) 
• Basic understanding of SQL, VBA, or OTHER
• Experience in manufacturing environment
