At Steampunk you will design and develop solutions to high-impact, complex data problems, working with the best and data practitioners around. Our data exploitation approach is tightly integrated with Human-Centered Design and DevSecOps.

Contributions

• Provides data analysis, including identifying and recognizing trends across datasets, locations, targets, etc.
• Compiles data from multiple sources. Monitors and assesses data for accuracy, integrity, authenticity, expectancy, timeliness, relevancy, intelligence gaps, and viability.
• Collaborates with stakeholders and investigators regarding data trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Experience leading data analyses efforts desired, preferrably including Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Must be conversant in concepts and methodologies for data pipelines, Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes, and database models.
• Leads the development of methodologies to exploit investigative information, to include conducting periodic progress reviews, as well as coordinating and completing quality control of all work products.
• Experience executing in an Agile, DevSecOps environment highly desired. Experience in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCS) system utilization highly desired.

Qualifications

• 5 years of in-depth knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and/or other data analytic/visualization tools in order to design and build formulas, charts, links, pivot tables, etc.
• 2 years of experience manipulating unstructured data from different platforms; and experience in IT, statistics, computer information systems, auditing, investigative, mathematics, and units of measure.
• 4 years of experience with a multitude of data sources; law enforcement/drug data desired.
• Experience using Agile and DevSecOps methods and techniques desired
• Experience with Cloud-based solution implementation preferred
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, Government security clearance minimally at the Public Trust level
• Must meet U.S. residency requirements
• A Bachelor’s Degree, or a combination of experience and education exceeding the degree/education requirements.
