Our Local Marketing Manager will be the face of Parker & Ace in the community and shape the future of the brand. We are looking for someone with a passion for animals, a can-do attitude, a high-energy social engager who loves to meet and talk to people focusing on events, outreach and community building.
About Parker & Ace
Parker & Ace is a new kind of veterinary clinic that combines the warmth and familiarity of a local veterinarian with modern technology and design as an extension of the patient/doctor relationship, not a replacement. We are a membership-based clinic with boutique primary care through an in-clinic, virtual, or hybrid experience. Members will have access to quality advice through teletriage 24/7. We will use telehealth to triage patients to ensure that we are maximizing the impact of our veterinarians and minimizing any unnecessary visits. Parker & Ace merges the best of human healthcare with a seamless consumer experience to offer customized, quality care that our furry companions deserve.
The Local Marketing Manager will report directly to the Chief of Staff.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the founders and Brand team to launch local marketing initiatives & events to drive growth and develop relationships with Parker & Ace members
- Develop and host creative pop-ups and in-clinic events
- Hand out swag, brochures and pet perks to the local community
- Create a strong social presence in DC by managing our social channels, snapping photos, videos and more
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand marketing budgets, forecast new member growth needs, and build efforts to create an excellent customer experience
- Establish and oversee local partnerships to build brand awareness and ensure Parker & Ace ties into the broader pet community in DC
- Partner with local marketing agencies to implement marketing channels like Direct Mail, Out of Home advertising, etc.
Relevant Experience
- 2 years of experience in Growth or Marketing roles
- Demonstrated success conceptualizing, planning, and hosting marketing events
- Ability to quickly build relationships
- Track record of establishing partnerships with local businesses
- Familiarity with the broader DC market
You will work out of one of the following locations:
- In-office: Washington DC
- Remote: Washington DC
