Position Summary

The Project Coordinator role is to assist the Project Management Department in the coordination and execution of various phases of the installation process. The Project Coordinator will regularly interface with Project Managers, Regional & Corporate team members, Customers, and Subcontractors. Project Coordinators will be responsible for coordination related to issue & action item follow-ups, scheduling & coordination of field resources supporting the Project Management Team as well as owning small projects from start to finish.

Duties & Responsibilities• Support the Project Management team in various aspects of the Project Life Cycle.
• Plan and manage multiple smaller projects on time and on budget.
• Assist the Department Manager with maintaining WIP backlog; job dates, statuses, updates, follow-ups, etc. to ensure the backlog is kept current for all business stakeholders.
• Coordinate assigned project deliverables between Project Managers, Sales, Customers, Subcontractors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Internal and External Reporting: Keep internal stakeholders informed of project statuses and deliverables, as well as risk and mitigation strategies. With the Account Executive, ensure the client is informed of project status.
• Project Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed both client and internal expectations by implementing quality assurance reviews appropriate to project size and scope.

Qualifications• Post graduate degree/diploma in Administration or a related field
• Experience in coordinating installation projects within the technology services industry
• 2 years security industry experience preferred
• Experience in Video, Card Access, and Burglar Alarm systems preferred

Working Conditions• Office/Work from home while under COVID-19 restrictions until at least September
• Flexibility in work schedule may be required depending upon client needs and location.
• Ability and willingness to work occasionally outside of regular business hours
