SteadySelf Counseling Center is Hiring a Mental Health Counselor Near Redmond, OR

Seeking clinicians to become a part of growing group practice. Applicants must be Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Professional Counselor Associates, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Clinical Social Work Associate. All applicants must be registered with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists or the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with a range of clients to implement appropriate evidenced based clinical interventions and trauma-informed therapies.

Part time and/or full time with evening and weekend options available. Candidate will be employee status with flexible schedule options. Supervision available for LPC registered associates seeking licensure.

Essential Job Duties

Position duties include building and maintaining a caseload of clients, behavioral health screenings, biopsychosocial assessments with DSM 5 diagnoses, treatment plans, ongoing psychotherapy and other related duties for children, adults or families seeking mental health services. Services to be provided face-to-face in office or via telehealth.

  • Establish a therapeutic relationship with clients seeking outpatient behavioral health services.
  • Provide counseling services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients experiencing social/behavioral/mental health issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, establish working diagnosis, and treatment plan.
  • Provide evidence–based therapeutic treatment to clients.
  • Complete and maintain documentation in a timely and accurate manner according to Federal, State, and company guidelines.
  • Adhere to HIPAA privacy standards and regulations.
  • Compliance with the State of Oregon Board of Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists Code of Ethics.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
  • Support the organization’s efforts to create and maintain a trauma-informed care culture.
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Record System.
