Job Description

The Business Development Support – Wind will be the point of contact for Wind technologies providing coordinated business development support from the central unit responsible for supporting Operation and Maintenance over the entire of Statkraft . Maintaining a close dialogue with the regions, including the regional Operational Representatives and Prepare For Operation (PFO) teams to ensure new learnings and experiences are transferred adequately into requirements and new projects is important. Additionally, the Business Development support – Wind shall support the Head of Business Development Support in managing and developing the organisation to deliver on business priorities. 

Main tasks include:

  • Dedicated wind technologies support on Operation and Maintenance (O&M) aspects, OPEX costs to all Business Areas on business development, projects and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) processes. 
  • Facilitate estimation of Operational Expenditures (OPEX) in contract negotiations 
  • Ensure that business development activities include relevant governance; requirements, guidelines, work processes, etc. for wind technologies in O&M Technology & Process to ensure profit optimisation and safe operations 
  • Benchmark Statkraft performance against those of Original Equipment Manufacturers 
  • Support wind Merger & Acquisition processes 
  • Support wind Prepare for Operation activities 

Qualifications

  • Higher relevant education within Electro technical / Mechanical / Industrial economy, preferably at Master´s level. 
  • Solid experience from the wind industry in Value Engineering of projects, Technology management and O&M 
  • Ability to collaborate constructively with business and functional leaders
  • High personal integrity and ethical standards with strong HSSE understanding and commitment
  • Capability to build the organisation, processes, and structures required to deliver on a new and large business ambition
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Norwegian
