States Logistics Services, Inc. is a third-party logistics company (3PL) operating in Southern California and Phoenix areas. We are growing and in need of a Warehouse Manager in the Inland Empire region.The warehouse manager is responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse. The job responsibilities will be based on the size of each facility and the business needs. Plans, organizes, staffs, directs, and controls all warehouse activities. Accountable for achieving prescribed company objectives in regards to cost, productivity, and profits.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Provide leadership, direction and supervision for all direct reports and ensure that supervisors and leads direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. May oversee a small packaging department.Coordinate with the corporate departments to implement and maintain policies and procedures relating to general warehouse operations, office/customer service, safety, IT, finance, and human resourcesCoordinates with the Customer Service Manager at the facility to ensure customer needs are met. May assist with creating an annual budget for their warehouse.Responsible for consistency in the performance management of all personnel which includes evaluations and all levels of progressive discipline. Develop, coach, and train direct reports while encouraging individual growth towards confidence and independent work habits.Promote safety through the mentoring of regularly scheduled meetings, equipment and product handling training, providing safe and efficient equipment, and consistently enforcing safety procedures and policies. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal Laws.Monitor the condition of the warehouse and product to maintain an “inspection ready” facility at all times.Manage inventory accuratelyRequirements:3 years 3PL Management experience with P&L and labor responsibilitiesExperience managing safety, quality, inventory, and LEAN programs o Experience managing a multi-client facility of 50 associate across 2 or more shifts of 250k square feet or greaterExperience with employee development and succession planningProficient with software programs to include: WMS, Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to work well with a team.Strong oral and written communication skills.Flexible to meet changing demands and able to juggle many tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.Must be available to work later Mon-Fri as volume dictates and some Saturdays.States Logistics Services, Inc. is a third-party logistics company (3PL) specializing in all aspects of supply chain management.
