Summary: Design, develop, and support steady state chiller cycle performance prediction software programs representing engineering data for use in Daikin Tools chiller sales. Provide engineering with chiller component and system performance simulation tools to support Chiller development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting .Net application software for chiller performance predictions.
• Applies thermodynamic and aerodynamic theories into vapor compression performance prediction program.
• Validates resulting program data to meet applicable UL, AHRI, and ASHRAE standards.
• Applies appropriate thermophysical fluid properties to solve cycle heat and mass balance
• Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
• Provides assistance and routine consultation to users in the development of application software.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical engineering, or similar preferred.
• 0 - 3 years of experience in a related setting preferred
• The ability to program in a .NET environment.
