Starry is Hiring a Field Sales Representative (Part-Time Weekends) Near Denver, CO

Hourly pay rate of $22, plus commissions. Final salary will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and training.

Who we’re looking for:

As a part-time weekend Subscriber Sales Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring new Starry subscribers and driving our success in your assigned multi-family residential properties (MDU), condos, residential communities and neighborhoods.

Subscriber Sales Representatives have high earning potential and flexible part-time work schedules in this field-based role. Shift hours can vary, but most activity takes place after 12pm, so afternoon and evening availability is preferred. We can be accommodating to other weekend commitments you may have.

This is a great starting point for those looking to jumpstart a career in sales. 

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong customer relationships! Communicate a thorough understanding of features and benefits of Starry Internet to sell service to potential customers.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals; identify potential sales, product, technical, or customer care issues and address with your local teams; there is no cap on commission, so aim high!
  • Identify, source, and attend potential subscriber acquisition opportunities via door-to-door knocking, event attendance and neighborhood canvassing to achieve your personal sales goals
  • Call on and visit all new build MDU properties on a regular basis prior to and following occupancy
  • Build out interest list and drive subscriber conversion once the building is live with Starry Internet Service
  • Be willing to be coached and trained to improve as a Sales professional 

Sell with relevancy and charm; we are not pushy!

Points for:

  • Relevant Field Sales experience (not required though!)
  • Motivation to sell door-to-door in residential areas
  • Enthusiasm for new technology and the internet space
  • Willingness to work weekday morning, nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
  • Valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record, and use of a reliable personal vehicle
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position such as bustling about, standing, bending, and sitting for the duration of your shift
