The Role – Director Partnerships
Reports to – Chief Revenue Officer

Primary Objectives

You will develop a formalized partnership program.

You will take full ownership and prioritization of the Partner network, in order to maximize the return to StarRez, by:

  • Overseeing the relationships with agreed/designated partners
  • Develop business plans with each Partner and ensure their successful execution
  • Ensuring maximum utilization of the current partnerships for best results
  • Monitoring KPI’s and proactively working to achieve the desired results
  • Collaborate with field sales teams to provide partners that add value to our current and prospective customers, identify incremental opportunities and assist in current sales pursuits.
  • Working across functional areas, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Development teams

Major Accountabilities

Competencies Required

Skills

  • Well versed in technology, strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, decision making, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Experience in Property Management and/or Student Housing would be a plus

Knowledge and Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships in the technology industry, where you have sourced, negotiated, launched and optimized both co-marketing and integrated partnerships.
  • Proven track record of leadership experience working independently and cross-functionally to drive multiple projects to a successful outcome.
  • Comfortable developing quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business cases.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to comfortably interact with partner’s and StarRez’s leadership management.
  • Experience producing measurable results of influenced revenue of Channel Sales
  • Applicants should come from a B2B Enterprise SaaS Solutions environment and have previous experiences of developing and managing commercial partnerships as well as building and scaling partner program in an Enterprise level SaaS software company. 

Preferred Requirements

Knowledge of the property management and/or higher education sector is helpful, along with experience working in a fast-moving dynamic software company.
