As a Security Officer with Star Protection, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel. As a Star Protection Security Officer, you will be required to know all site-specific policies and procedures and execute emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing excellent customer service.

All other duties include but are not limited to;

• Basic computer competency
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• De-escalate hostile situations
• Write reports when appropriate
• Organize and manage visitor logs
• Assist with lost and found management
• Walk/ Stand up to 10 hours per day (Indoors/Outdoors)
• Coordinate package deliveries to residents/ inhabitants of the property
• Attend and execute fire drills and other safety training as deemed necessary
• Patrolling community, business parking lots, and common areas (Indoors/Outdoors)
• All other duties as requested

Requirements

• Proof of High School Diploma/ GED
• 1 year of previous experience in customer service
• Typing speed of 25 wpm
• Ability to work assigned shifts
• Ability to obtain a NV PILB Guard Card
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to communicate written and verbally in English

Preferred

• CPR Certification
• Previous experience using CCTV
• Previous experience in a similar setting
