Stanley Autenrieth Auction Group, LLC is Hiring an Automotive Title Clerk Near Fort Wayne, IN

We are seeking an Automotive Title Clerk to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for processing titles for vehicles sold through auction, and documenting all title, registration, and vehicle owner information. Ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Title Clerk in a dealership setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze vehicle titles for accuracy and completeness, including VIN number, odometer reading and release of liens.
  • Verify acceptance of title in state for which it is filed.
  • Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Confirm negotiability of title document and report any title discrepancies.
  • Interact with customers, dealers and representatives of regulatory agencies in resolution of title issues.
  • Follow up on late/outstanding titles.
  • Maintain current knowledge of DMV regulations regarding vehicle titles for each state in which vehicles are processed.
  • Perform other job related duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Vehicle Title experience highly beneficial
  • Working knowledge of title processing and applicable state regulations regarding vehicle titles
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Skilled in problem solving and communications
  • Detail oriented
  • Computer proficiency
  • 1 or more years of experience in dealership, auto auction, or work with DMV vehicles preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
