Stamford Residence and Rehabilitation Center is Hiring a LVN Near Stamford, TX

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at our nursing home in Texas. The LVN will be responsible for providing direct care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, vision, dental, and vacation days.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medication and IV therapy

- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature

Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare team members

Maintain accurate documentation and records

Follow all policies and procedures, including infection control protocols

Supervise and train Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

- Ensure residents are kept comfortable, clean and well-groomed by staff.

- Ensure that staff provides protection to residents from accident and injury.

Qualifications:

Current licensure as an LVN in the state of Texas

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical ability to lift and move residents as needed

Passion for providing excellent care to seniors
