THE MISSION

The mission for the Sanitation Team will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe facility/warehouse environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use cleaning and sanitizing tools to maintain sanitary conditions in accordance with established Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
• Operate forklifts and man lifts in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Must be able to read and follow chemical labels and review Safety Data Sheets (SDS’s) to obtain appropriate hazard information and safety statements.
• Must be able to follow mixing instructions for chemicals used in cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and ensure proper concentrations.
• Complete all assigned tasks as required on the master sanitation schedule and maintain related logs.
• Adheres to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• This position has been identified as holding responsibility for food safety and quality of the company. This responsibility extends over all shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be able to lift, push, pull, reach, bend, stand, walk, and climb stairs.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification.
• Work well both in a team and individually.
• Must be able to work in all environments (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
• You must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
