MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
1. Collect and evaluate sales data and analyze market data to measure the attainment of sales objectives.
2. Prepare sales forecasts and recommend quotas for Sales Representatives.
3. Track and prepare status reports on work in progress and sales force performance.
4. Prepare sales reporting for sales and marketing departments.
5. Perform broad and data queries and reports for all departments in organization.
6. Track and forecast to sales by region, sales territory, market segment and product.
7. Evaluate sales goals based on criteria established by management team.
8. Track, calculate and report sales bonuses, awards and contests.
9. Track consignment inventory.
10. Act as a liaison between MIS and department/field.
11. Field telephone calls from Regional Managers and Territorial Representatives, as well as customers.
12. Track accounts performance to see if contractual commitments are being met and if adjustments are needed.
13. Manage multiple products being ordered at discounted “bundle” pricing.
14. Forecast sales monthly.
15. Prepare ROI analysis for marketing department for promotional programs.
16. Assist in the creation of a “bundle” quotation.
17. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & TRAINING
• B.A./B.S. degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum two years as a sales analyst or analytical experience required.
• Experience preparing and implementing a business plan, forecasts and budgets required.
• Medical sales and marketing experience preferred.
SKILLS
• Working knowledge of PC based work processing, spreadsheet and relational database software (MS Word, Excel, and Access).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented; ability to manage and organize multiple projects.
