For 1st Shift, Final Packaging

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
1. Oversee processing ensuring safety, quality product and quality system compliance.
2. Manage timecards: tardiness, vacation planning (absenteeism), and overtime.
3. Fill out equipment and facility repair requests (includes forms for new equipment, calibration, transferring, etc).
4. Fill out purchase requests and follow up on orders.
5. Managing component inventories and ordering parts from warehouse.
6. Fill out report on quality events and assist management/engineering with investigating the cause of non-conformities within the area including impact on processes and products.
7. Provide/coordinate training to direct reports; develop staffs’ skills (includes training for production processes and other requirements such as filling out cross charge forms).
8. Ensure adequate cross training and coverage for all areas of the business.
9. Manage direct reports’ MasterControl requirements including updates to employee job modules, scheduling of training time and team is current on changes to processes being used.
10. Manage/direct day to day work flow and processes to minimize downtime and maximize utilization of resources.
11. Maintain a clean, organized and efficient work area.
12. Ensure that all production is completed in a timely manner in meeting production plan/budget requirements (headcount, material, and production rate).
13. Participate in verbal and written counselling/coaching and write employee evaluations (with support and final approval from management). 
14. Work with support staff to solve issues and escalate when appropriate.
15. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & TRAINING
• Must possess a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED).

EXPERIENCE
• Must be fully trained and possess demonstrated ability to meet established standards in the manufacturing processes established for this specific area.
• Minimum 3 years of medical device or other regulated product manufacturing experience required.
• Familiarity with quality control system in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment is required.
• Experience with cleanroom environments preferred. 
• Experience using a microscope and/or other measurement/inspection equipment preferred.

• Good knowledge of Quality System requirements.

• Intermediate software skills including InfoFlo or equivalent, MasterControl or equivalent, Word and Excel.

Pay range: $27 - $33 per hour Final compensation/salary will be depend on experience
