Description

MISSION STATEMENT: To be a beacon of light by transforming lives in the Vincentian spirit of charity, justice, and mercy through interpersonal connectivity.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting in daily operations of the IT department. Coordinate and work with Sage Intacct as well the other administrative/internal department’s ERP software systems. Perform day-to-day software system administration, database management system development, and analyze system problems. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (These essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. · Perform front end sysadmin maintenance for Sage Intacct and various company ERP software suites.

· Manage technical resources and staff to assist users and resolve problems with equipment and data.

· Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.

· Incidence management and root cause analysis of local and cloud hosted infrastructure.

· Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.

· Generate support system analytical data, recommend changes needed for improvement. 

· Assess all software on a regular basis, ensure it meets necessary demands and is the currently supported version. Independently research alternative options and report findings to leadership.

· Develop, generate, and compile reports required by the Chief of IT.

· Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and databases as necessary for reporting purposes. 

· Back-up databases to media and offsite secure storage as needed and store to protect information from major malfunctions, disaster, or other losses.

· Prepare software baseline reports

· Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow and improve customer satisfaction.

· Serves as technical “Go-To” for departments regarding ERP systems.

· Actively participate in the PQI System.

· Facilitate the analysis of data to continually assess organizational performance.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Complies with all applicable training requirements

· Complies with all company safety, personnel and operational policies and procedures

· Complies with work schedule to ensure effective operations of Agency programs 

· Contributes positively as a member of a productive and cooperative team

· Performs other duties as necessary to fulfill the Society of St. Vincent de Paul CARES Mission and Values

Requirements

· Proven advanced computer/networking skills are required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: (Pending on position and if prior to hire is approved by Chief Executive Officer, a comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum education qualifications)

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

· Minimum of 4 years' industry experience in the Information Technology field, or a combination of education and experience pertaining to the position.

· Experience implementing or maintaining Sage Intacct

· Prior experience with the systems development life cycle.

· Thorough knowledge of databases (SQL) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) a plus

GENERAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Working in an office/site requires prolonged sitting at the computer workstation, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 40 lbs. and some driving. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones, and other office equipment. It is also required to regularly sit, speak, and listen, the employee is also required to walk, use hands and fingers to type, operate equipment, and maintain records and notes. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 

MENTAL DEMANDS: Must handle new and diverse work problems daily. Personal maturity is an important attribute. Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure. Must have the ability to listen objectively to people, perceive the real problem and assist in bringing issues to a successful conclusion. Must relate and interact with volunteers, clients, contractors, visitors, and employees at all levels within the Agency. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Environment will occasionally become noisy due to equipment operations and interactions among clients and staff. There may be the possibility of being exposed to communicable disease, exposure to verbal abuse or similar behavior from residents/clients. On an as needed basis, employees may be called upon to work outside of the established work schedule or work odd hours. All information associated with the Agency is confidential.
