Summary: The Data Architect will be responsible for guiding the full lifecycle of a Data Catalog solutions/products, including requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design and development, testing and deployment in on-premises and/or Cloud Infrastructures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values. Principle Accountabilities: % Of Time Spent 1. Deep knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data privacy compliance principles. (15%) 2. Knowledge of data governance and data management concepts, approaches, tools in the successful implementation of data strategy (15%) 3. Leveraging expertise to implement and configure Data Catalog tools (15%) 4. Strong data management skills (25%) 5. Designing end to end workflows, KPIs and dashboards in Data Catalog Tools (15%) 6. Function as a subject matter expert (SME) for data management best practices, including data definitions and taxonomies, metadata management of critical data assets, business data flow, technical data lineage, sensitive data discover, and data privacy compliance. Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or its equivalent in work experience, and five years of programming/development expereience. 1 year of experience as a technical lead required.

Experience

• 9 years of programming/development experience preferred.• 2 years of experience as a technical lead preferred.• Experience in Data Governance of wide variety of data types (structured, semi-structured and unstructured data) and wide variety of data sources • 2-4 years of sound experience with data management tools such as Alation, Collibra, or Informatica• 5 plus years of experience Architecting, Designing, and Developing ETL and Data solutions• Experience with mission-critical high-scale and distributed RDMS (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB2)• Experience with data visualization tools and reporting software (Tableau, Cognos, Power BI)• Agile project management experience, including use of agile project management tools (i.e. JIRA, Git, etc.)• Experience with planning and executing multi-year road maps with the ability to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively• Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the network, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals: ability to build relationships across departments• Must have excellent written, presentation, interpersonal, relationship and negotiating skills• Advanced IT process improvement, and problem-solving skills• Comfortable presenting to senior management
