Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to:

• perform advanced life support measures;
• perform assessment and stabilization of trauma patient;
• perform symptom analysis of chief complaint of patients;
• differentiates severity of patient problems and prioritizes care.
• initiate nursing measures and diagnostic studies according to protocols;
• obtain primary survey;
• perform ongoing assessments based on patient acuity and condition;
• identify and document on the patient record, the nursing diagnoses.

Education

• Associates or better in Nursing

• Bachelors or better in Nursing
